Post Storm Rainfall Data In the Colby Fire Impact Area

Thanks to our partners at USGS, the below data was collected from the rain gauge located at the top of Rainbow Drive. The storm provided some pretty sizable spikes in rainfall, but nothing sustained or breaking the threshold levels.
Precipitation is measured using a tipping-bucket rain gauge near the outlet of the basin and near the ridge top. Each tip of the bucket records 0.2 mm of precipitation. Graphs of rain gauge data show the cumulative rainfall since the last gauge reset and the 10-minute rainfall intensity.
