The City of Glendora invites all interested parties to attend public hearing and express their views.  Should you be unable to attend a public hearing, comments must be made in writing and delivered prior to the scheduled hearing date.  Related documents are on file for public inspection and copying, for the cost of duplication during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays.

PLEASE NOTE:  If you challenge any of the proposed action(s) in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing, or in written correspondence delivered at, or prior to, the public hearing.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a vacancy has occurred on the City of Glendora’s Water Commission due to a resignation. Applications will be received until 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2020 and the successful candidate will be appointed to complete the vacated term ending June 30, 2021.



Commission:                             Water Commission

Vacancy:                                   Office No. 4 – Madan Arora resignation as of June 30, 2020.

Term:                                         Unexpired Term ending on June 30, 2021



Water Commission: Members serve a 4-year term. This Commission serves in an advisory capacity to the City Council on policies and programs related to water rates, conservation efforts and financial matters. Members must be customers of the City’s water division of the Public Works Department. This Commission meets on a quarterly basis.

Pursuant to City Resolution, members are required to complete AB1234 Ethics Training and Brown Act Training and are required to attend meetings on a regular basis.


APPOINTMENT PROCEDURE:  Applicants must be 18 years or older, register to vote and must maintain residency within the incorporated areas of the City of Glendora during their term of office.  Applications are available via the City’s web site by clicking here or can be mailed to you by calling the City Clerk’s Office at (626) 914-8210, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., except holidays.  Completed application forms must be filed with the City Clerk no later than 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 28, 2020. It is anticipated that interviews will be schedule for Tuesday, June 9, 2020 between 6:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. online via Zoom Video Communications.  Applicants will be contacted to schedule interview times following the recruitment deadline.
