_______________________________________________________________________________________________________

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council will hold a public hearing in the City Council Chamber of City Hall, 116 E. Foothill Boulevard, Glendora, California, on Tuesday February 11, 2020 at 7:00 p.m. to receive and consider all evidence and reports relative to a project application (File No. PLN19-0009) which requests to subdivide 2.65 acres of land at the northeast corner of Arrow Highway and Sunflower Avenue in order to create two separate parcels: The western portion of the site (Lot 1) would include the existing brick building that is approved and currently under construction for remodel conversion into a food hall with brewery tap room (“Glendora Public Market”). The eastern portion of the site (Lot 2) is vacant and proposed for development with 16 detached, two-story residential condominium homes, along with supporting community infrastructure, landscaping, lighting, and common areas. The project involves the following discretionary approvals for consideration:

  • Tentative Tract Map No. 76051 to create a residential condominium subdivision that establishes exclusive private areas and common area and defines ownerships that can be acquired and sold by future homeowners.

  • Minor Modification Permit to allow a setback reduction for the second story portions of the proposed homes to the rear property line of adjacent neighboring residential properties (35 feet required, and 29.75 feet requested).

  • Development Plan Review for the approval of the project’s residential development plans.

On January 7, 2020 the Glendora Planning Commission reviewed and recommended City Council approval for the above-mentioned items.

All interested parties are invited to attend said hearing and express their views on this matter.  Should you be unable to attend the public hearing, your comments must be made in writing and delivered to the Planning Division prior to the scheduled hearing date.  Related documents are on file for public inspection and copying for the cost of duplication at the Office of the Planning Division, 116 E. Foothill Blvd, Glendora, California, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays.

Further Information on the above application may be obtained or viewed at the Planning Division, located at 116 E. Foothill Boulevard, Glendora, California or by telephone at (626) 914-8253.
