A display is in the library's lobby. As forms arrive, they will be listed here, so check back for the latest update. Most forms can currently be printed for you by a librarian. However, instructions are generally too lengthy.

Please note that very specialized, uncommon forms will not be stocked at the library, although some may be printable by a librarian. You may also use the information below to order them directly yourself.

Do You Need Help Preparing Your Tax Returns?

VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) If you make $54,000 or less per year and need assistance preparing your returns, VITA offers free tax help between February 1 and April 15. VITA focuses on taxpayers who are disabled, of limited income and non-English speaking, and those over the age of 60. 

MyFreeTaxes If your household earned less than $66,000 in 2018, you can file both your federal and state returns free using MyFreeTaxes.com, a cooperative effort by The United Way and H&R Block. MyFreeTaxes is free for individuals and families in this income bracket, whether you file in multiple states, work freelance, have a side job, or earn investment income.

AARP Foundation Tax Aide The foundation has more than 5,000 sites nationwide which are open annually from late January/early February to April 15. Online help is also available. Their emphasis is on taxpayers who are in a low-moderate income bracket, especially those 60 and older. Between late January and April 15, you can locate a site near you by clicking the green link above.

La Fetra Senior Center, Glendora: Appointments will be taken starting January 16 for federal and state tax return assistance for low-moderate income individuals (no age limitation.) Tax preparation sessions will be held on Mondays from February 4 – April 15. (Monday exception: there will be tax preparation on Tuesday, February 19th due to Presidents Day.) All participants receiving this service must visit the La Fetra Center prior to their scheduled appointment to pick up paperwork. Failure to pick up paperwork may result in cancellation of the appointment. On or after January 16, call (626) 914-0560 to schedule.
