Glendora READS Literacy program page

"Helping adults learn to read, write and grow"

 Glendora READS! provides:

  • One-to-one, confidential, personalized tutoring
  • Assessment for prospective clients
  • All tutoring and materials at no cost
  • Research-based materials designed for adults
  • Support and encouragement

 Who we serve:

Adults 16 and over who are not currently enrolled in high school and who are able to complete an interview and skills assessment in English. 

Adults who want to improve reading, writing or spelling skills by dedicating 1 1/2 hours or more each week working with a tutor for at least six months.
