The City of Glendora invites all interested parties to attend public hearing and express their views.  Should you be unable to attend a public hearing, comments must be made in writing and delivered prior to the scheduled hearing date.  Related documents are on file for public inspection and copying, for the cost of duplication during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays.

PLEASE NOTE:  If you challenge any of the proposed action(s) in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else raised at the public hearing, or in written correspondence delivered at, or prior to, the public hearing.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

GLENDORA CITY COUNCIL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Glendora will hold a public hearing pursuant to Sections 21.01.030(E) and 21.01.050 of the Glendora Municipal Code in the City Council Chamber of City Hall, 116 E. Foothill Boulevard, Glendora, California, to receive and consider all evidence and reports relating to the following application/project:

State Model Water Efficient Landscaping Ordinance

Application:

The proposed text amendments to Glendora’s Zoning Code, Section 21.03.060 will remove local requirements that exceed those set by State Law. The amendment is prompted in order to ease and expedite the development review process and reduce the cost of development for property owners. The revisions to the Zoning Code will result in a more efficient development review process that will continue to be in compliance with State Law.

Environmental:

The project is covered by the general rule that the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) applies to projects which have the potential for causing significant effect on the environment. It can be seen with certainty that the revisions to the Zoning Code have no potential for resulting in physical change to the environment, directly or indirectly; therefore, the activity is not subject to CEQA (CEQA Guidelines sec. 15061(b)(3)). 

Historical Status:

The proposed amendment does not impact any one property in particular.

Foothill Blvd, Glendora, California, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, exclusive of holidays.
