Community Development Update – June 1, 2018
June 5, Planning Commission Meeting Preview – The Planning Commission will hold their next Meeting on Tuesday, June 5 at 7:00 pm in the City Council Chamber. The agenda and staff reports are posted on the City’s website:
The meeting includes two items:
- 400 N Glendora Avenue – Cornerstone Church expansion. The Church has put their project on hold requesting an extended and indefinite continuance.
- Arrow Highway – Public hearing on the Arrow Highway Specific Plan.
Foothill Gold Line Extension – In anticipation of Foothill Gold Line Glendora to Montclair extension, which is anticipated to be completed in 2026, Metro is reaching out to all “Phase 2B” communities to assist in coordinating “first/last mile planning.” Metro will coordinate with cities over the next several months to plan for improvements necessary for pedestrian access to the future light rail stations. Plans may include pedestrian pathways, bicycle networks, way finding signage, and other proposals to create access to the future stations. More information on this project to come in the late summer/early fall.
Current Development – Details on new construction and a complete list of Current Zoning Applications are available on the City’s website via the link below. Some of the highlighted projects are under construction, while others are under review and have not been approved.
